- 3 of us spoke at Solvang School 5th Grade GATE Program about our careers in technology and career advice. We will be speaking again on Friday, May 25
- Speakers have included Dave Retz (internet developer, founder of Comware Int'l and syvonline.com locally), Kevin Mills from Carpinteria's Demarc Security Company, Paul Valenzuela (Project Mgmt courses instructor and network mgr at UCSB and our own Chris Chirgwin on computer security. This last October, 2007 we had the pleasure of Chris Rose, Director of Sales at Impulse Internet who spoke about the future of Telephony, VOIP and in November, 2007, my previous I/T manager at Medtronic Neurosurgery in Goleta, Ed Seaman spoke about how to improve your business and his new franchise, Action Coach Business Coaching, he has started a local franchise! Most recently Chris Chirgwin spoke about virtualization in our work and home.
